In Loving Memory
Lost but not Forgotten
This page is personal to us and those who have adopted kittens/cats from us and lost them to unfortunate sickness. It is sad but they will forever be remembered..."Lost but not forgotten"
Smudge
Went to Charlene Jacobs to be fostered initially, but then stole her heart and was then adopted by Charlene permanently.
His death
Sadly, Smudge died during early January 2008. He suddenly succumbed to some FIP related illness, which is unfortunately usually only diagnosed when it is too late. Thank you Charlene for your caring and giving Smudge the opportunity to have a happy and contented few months.

Happy I once may have been, but remember I could not.
As I was dumped and left alone in the dark.
I wondered so many times why I was born at all.
If nobody was going to love me and just abandoned me.
I was rescued I believe, fed and given a home in a cage.
I have made new friends, we played, but yet I was still alone.
But then you came, picked me up and took me to your home.
I was nervous and afraid to screw this chance up.
My life began with your love, though I was needed else where
And had to spread my wings and fly, I still think of you.
You still guide my spirit safe and sheltered, and for that
I give you my heart forever and always.

His death
In every room full of kittens there is often one of with whom I bond particularly and Stevie was one. He was found at the museum bedraggled and frightened. He had silver grey fur with blue eyes and in no time he knew my voice and soon his name, He would run to me for his bottle but I noticed that he was not putting on weight nor playing with the other kittens. He spent his time in his tent sitting on the hot water bottle. The warning signs were there but I hoped my instincts were wrong. Unfortunately he was found to have FIP. I still miss him but only know that the short life he had was one filled with love and caring.
Mommy

This Mommy was rescued from a police station with one little kitty on 18th October 2008. She was seen as a feral cat but was actually a very sweet and scared little cat. She loved to be with people and always wanted a cuddle. Mommy was approx 8 months old (still very young). The kitten has found a loving home!
Her death
It was soon close to the time she was ready to be in search for a home when her kitten was old enough to be separated from her when she was tested to have cancer. As hard and sad as it was for us, we were left with the decision to have her put to sleep. :(
