Adoptions - Kittens

We have decided to add a few pictures of the kittens, some of these kittens are still available so if you act now you may still be able to book your favourite kitten or fall in love with another one. We only have space to keep a certain amount of kittens in out care, and if we can't get any of them adopted ASAP, then there are many kittens we have to show away because we cannot take in more. So the more that gets adopted the more we can help by taking them into our care.

Comments: 0 Post / View Comments Two beautiful kittens and their mommy were abandoned by their owners at Silver Lakes. they were left to fend for themselves outside in the cold & in the bushes. Eventually, some kind residents started feeding them. We caught them & the mommy has been sterilized and homed. The kittens are about 4 months old. A Beautiful light grey tabby - Candy, and a grey "Russian Blue" - Vicki (short for Victoria). They were a bit nervous of me at first but have become quite lovable although still slightly reserved. Little Background

The Kittens are taken care of by Avril. She takes in up to 25 kittens into her home, where the Kitten shelter is located. There is always extra space made for pick-up kittens in dire circumstances. We also have about 6 volunteers who at very short notice take in babies in need of bottle feeding , which is a very exhausting , but very rewarding job. The little ones have to be fed every 2 hours and kept warm and comfortable, introduced to solids and the volunteer has to play "mother" until the kitten is old enough to be introduced to the kitten shelter and eventual adoption . All our kittens are cared for with great love and the positive feed-back we get from the adoptees who come back for a 2nd or even a 3rd kitten speaks of the success of our organization. From the start of Cats'9Lives to end December 2007, 427 kittens have been adopted through Cats'9Lives.
